There is a single Belvoir Angel stone here, and an interesting one it is too!

The stone has sloping edges, with the angel being framed by them at the top. The angel here is frowning and is a simple but very beautiful piece of work.

The text underneath is very basic and without meaning to be disrespectful at all, it is carved in an almost childlike way.

This stone reads 'Here lyeth ye body of John Devrill who died in ye 33rd yeare of his age May ye 23rd in the yeare of our Lord 1717'

The inscription at the foot of the gravestone is partially sunken but appears to read 'The Lord thought first that he should not stay and to himself snatch him away'.
